Jeyam Kondaan Music Review [Behindwoods.com]
Jeyam Kondaan's Music Rewiew by Behindwoods.com
Music review By Malathy Sunderam
- Again i have posted only Madhushree's song review, for the rest, click on the link below.
Naan varaindhu vaittha
Vocals: Hariharan and Madhushree, Lyrics: Yugabharathi
The opening sarangi notes are gentle and suggest the mood of the song itself--that of longing. Fine expressive singing by Hariharan. The sarangi follows delightfully in places. Even the interludes have a rich depth to them. The song is basically about how love transforms the way you look at even mundane things. Hariharan lets each line taper off with a lovely' sangati' which should not be missed. The lady sings well too, but is sometimes high-pitched which could have been toned down.

What " The Lady "..... ??????? Cant the reviewer just use her name.... Its quite clear that The lady's name is printed and posted on the site, yet she uses such term for Madhushree....This is what u call ignorant..... Sheeeeshhh.........

Rediff's Jeyam Kondaan's Music Review
Jeyam Kondaan's music is unoriginal
June 12, 2008 16:18 IST
Vidyasagar is back on the musical scene with Jeyam Kondaan (The Victor), a Tamil film produced by Sathyajyothi Films. With six tracks, here's what this romantic collection has to offer.
First up is Naan Varaindhu Vaitha...sung by Hariharan and Madhusri. Written by Yugabharathi, this song is composed of simplistic musical phrases with classic touches. The beautiful raga of Suddha Dhanyasi flows, reminding you in places of the Madhurey song, Kanden, Kanden but you relish this raga that lends itself so well to romantic interpretation. The lyrics describe the emotions of the lovers, presumably upon falling in love, and the joy it brings to their lives. Melodious and catchy, this number is easily the pick of the album.
And that seems to be the general tone of the whole album. Barring the first number, the rest all seem to follow the same established romantic/pacing patterns -- notes you've heard many, many times before.

Naan Varaindhu Vaitha - Jeyam Kondaan - Madhushree's Latest Tamil Track
Hey there all.... well.... guess what, the audio was released on 7th June.... and yes, its an awesome composition by Vidyasagar. It was just an excellent track.... not to mention, the " Vaaji Vaaji " combo, Hariharan and Madhushree yet again for another beautiful love melody. Its probably the best track in the film, Jeyam Kondaan.
Ok, i didint comment on the song as soon as i heard it, becoz i wanted to understand the song well before commenting on it.... and guess wat, its been the solo number in my winamp playlist, and its in a loop... ive been listenin to it only ever since it got released.... Madhushree was simply excellent in the song... her emotions was top notch!.... and her Tamil diction has improved... except for the part where she pronounce "Thanga CHIRAPPAM" in a fast portion of the song. It kinda irks u... i know, its gonna give a big way for the 'anti-north-Indian-singers-in-Tamil-song" to review on her harshly, yet again. But yes, that part is a lil off... i must agree... but the rest of the song.... its just magical!!! esp... listen to this part " 3:49 - 3:51 " where she goes " Heeyyyy....." so cutely !!! its like an emotion where a girl sings while smiling and pulling the guy's hand in a very sweet manner... u know... that kind.... not only that part, but overall her rendition in the song was out of the world..... !!! only Madhushree can perform such emotion in a song.... i can bravely say this...... :)
Oh well.... overall, the song is just very very very very addictive !!! trust me... u just cant enough of it, whether ur a Madhushree fan or not..... and i notice its the most listened track from the film according to the Top 50 of MusicIndiaOnline.com
Well, wat r u waiting for?? Click below to listen to the number and judge it for ur self.... please feel free to comment yea....

Sandai Kozhi - Aayitha Ezhutu Second Version ???? Anyone Noticed???
Hey there all guys.... well, i noticed this the 1st time i watch the movie in theater, that if u guys noticed, Madhushree has rendered Sandhai Kozhi again for the movie's version. I believe this was done becoz of some mispronunciation done by her in the Audio CD version. If u guys really listen to the audio CD version, Madhushree some parts will say " Sandhai KoDI KoDI". She uses the Telugu's language to say Kozhi, becoz as u know she rendered the Telugu version as well, "Sankurathri kodi".
Yea so, hmmm.... She has sung it CORRECTLY in the movie's version. So i have ripped it out and uploaded it here, so u guys can listen. She has rendered the WHOLE song again, and some parts u can hear she has given new feel to it. Do give it a try...
